So I have elza's english patch,I patched the rom and trimmed it everything is all good I did notice however that as you progress through the game and unlock the other backgrounds that the only background translated is the first one and one of the events titles in dragon story mode is translated it's in the 8th chapter.

Anyways was there ever any progress made with this continuation of the translation ?

I've kinda improved on this translation and hoping to share if people are interested. Still need more translation but over a lot has been retranslated. Currently editing the story mode and customization items. :D

So what’s going on with the translation/patch? I mean it’s been over 10 yrs… and the other dude from 2017 idk what happened to him but it don’t seem like the ppl working on this anymore… surprised it took this long to finish a English patch w/ no updates whatsoever currently

Hey guys! How's it going? I'm tryna revive this translation, but I don't really know what I'm doing for the most part. Using the bare minimum knowledge, I was able to use Tinke 0.9.2 to translate the entirety of the story mode menu, and translated the multiplayer menu, in addition to some of the cutscenes (up to the first 2 levels of the namek saga). I was trying to translate the options menu, but in one of the panels, which is one for listening to the BGMs of the stages, I need to input the names of the stages, but there isn't enough space to input them. If I want to take up more space, I need to edit the pointers to the names, but I have no idea how to do that. As you can probably gather, I'm no professional. If anyone can be of any help, it would be greatly appreciated. In any case, I'm gonna put in some screenshots so that you can see how far I've come, and how you might be able to help. Thank you for any help you might provide.

I FINALLY FIGURED OUT POINTERS!!!!!! GOD DAMN IT TOOK ME A WHILE!!!

Ok! Time to get to more translating! Next up: The Options Menu!

I'm going to fully translate that for now. The pointers really stumped me, especially because they decided to flip the destination addresses (an address of AB CD would be CD AB). Also, figuring out where the pointers were also took its unholy time, but then I found out it's just in the files themselves, so progress will hopefully be a lot quicker.

Also, if there is anyone that has any idea where or how I can find the graphics, it would be highly appreciated, because I'm struggling a bit with that. I found only one graphic, which is the banner (the icon displayed when selecting the game from the DS menu), and I wasn't able to find much else. Hopefully anyone can help me, because this isn't exactly an easy endeavor alone. Also, progress might be a bit slow for now, as I am in my finals period. Wish me luck!

Thanks for sticking around y'all! To all the more updates! It can only go up from here! See ya!

EDIT: I almost finished the hearing BGM selection, but I really gotta head to sleep now [it's 3 am : ) ], so here are some pics. This is what I needed changing pointers for.

That's how endianness works, though?
Bro.... My mind is literally fried. I've been studying for finals for like close to a week, in addition to working on a game for a course project. Endianness flew out the window for me. I forgot that there is something called little endian and big endian. Didn't even think about them really. Then again this is low level language and arm9, so I probably should've thought about it, being a computer engineering student lol. Anyways, thanks for the reminder!
