That's one benefit of RAM hacking, you should be able to inject a previous RAM file.Actually, I backup .bin file on my computer. Is it possible if I inject the old one and every thing will be the same?
Did you even read the first post? Your firmware is compatible with the homebrew method. My firmwire is 9.8.0-25E...
Looks i wont be able to use this unless its updated or if I can downgrade my firmware
Did you delete the old acnlram.bin file in your SD card?I followed the new instructions exactly to 'dump' my ACNL save file. It worked, but when I then tried to open my acnlram.bin with the Save Editor, it said 'Invalid Ram File'....
Anyway this can be used to swap the mayor position?
Use an hex editor and truncate from 0x07ffff the file. Make sure it becomes a 524288 bytes file.marc how do you convert an old ram file into compatibility with the new editor?

It means the savegame header in RAM could not be found. That's weird if you've been injecting until now with no problems. I guess I know the answer but... did you inject with the game on?What does a red screen mean when trying to inject a ram?

The ram method isn't even suppose to work on anything but 9.0 to 9.5.0-22, so she was lucky it did work on her 8.x 3ds. Update to 9.2 and it should work again.Hello! My friend is having a problem with her acnlram.bin file actually not appearing. Before the newest Save Editor came out, she was able to get her file every time she dumped her game, but now it doesn't seem to work. Her firmware is 8.0.1 (something like that) and it was working for her before the new update came out. Could anyone help find a solution?

There's no possible way for her to update to 9.2 without her ds updating to the latest version though? The ram method isn't even suppose to work on anything but 9.0 to 9.5.0-22, so she was lucky it did work on her 8.x 3ds. Update to 9.2 and it should work again.
She's using the latest bookmarks but everytime she dumps her file with the browser, nothing appears on her sd card. The editor doesn't have anything to do with this.
Which method is she using? The old files in SD, the QRs or the latest bookmarks one?
Oh yes there isThere's no possible way for her to update to 9.2 without her ds updating to the latest version though?
Oh ok! Thank you so much!Oh yes there is
She needs to setup rxtools first. Then follow this guide
But wait for marc_max's reply before doing this, maybe he has an easier solution.
you seem to already have found a solution, but has your friend tried remaking the bookmarks? i have a 3ds at 8.0.0-18 and it's pretty finicky with ram dumping and i remember when making my bookmarks i had to try about 5 times before it worked, so it could be same for your friend.Oh ok! Thank you so much!
