I can't dump anymore. No idea why. No green screen, no color of any kind. Just an error crash in the browser. I checked and I'm still on 9.2.0. I also re-downloaded the acnl zip with the two bins and deleted my most recent acnlram.bin which was from just last night. Obviously I've also tried shutting down my 3DS and starting it back up..

Try hold L when the page loads, that is the only way it will turn green for me.

Yeah, it only get the green about 1/3 of the time even when it works.

I am looking into it though since they wont share I have no knowledge of Hex editing but with a bit of research I have found out that JPEG starts with FF D8 end ends with D9 FF or something, and the closest bit I can find is:

however I am unsure how to convert between and whether I am looking at the right thing (I assume I am because it says Exif which is the ASCII or something (Magic number (programming)) I'm looking into it though.

EDIT: Actually it's probably much larger than that, I think I've found the block but can't figure out how to make a jpg (tried using a text document)

I had the same issue while using NeoKamek's mass evicter, and I just erased my browser history, and tried again and it worked.

How about let's not ruin other people's games, hm? If shit like this starts getting out it will give Nintendo an incentive to update the game and make it so you need the latest firmware version to get online, as with Pokemon and Smash.

Good point, but the only reason I used this was to get my old town back... :L

It should still be working. Somtimes for me it doesn't give a color, just the error message. Try checking the SD with the ram editor again.

Does anyone know if the RAM editor can create/delete dirt paths (like NeoKamek's desert function, but instead of the whole town, just in a path like form?

Check the LeafTools thread by NeoKamek, there is a pretty simple backup tool you can (and should) use.

I haven't corrupted anything so far, I only caused my game to glitch once while researching how to change native fruit because I changed the wrong bit.

May I make a suggestion to anyone who's willing to contribute? It would be really great if we could change our grass patterns (square, triangle, circle) and town hall & train station roof colors (grey, red, brown, blue, green). I'd do it myself, but I'm completely clueless when it comes to this thing. I've only have SysNAND.

I've been thinking about this too. I completely forgot that there were different grass patterns until I saw a screenshot yesterday. I'm guessing it's stored somewhere with grass wear data?

So, has anyone noticed that the editor only lets you place regular fruit trees, and not perfect fruit trees? I mean yeah I can generate baskets of perfect fruit with it and plant them myself but it'd be easier if I could just place the full-grown tree from the get-go. I have both regular peach trees and perfect peach trees and their ID numbers are slightly different but they both just show up as "peach tree" when I mouse over them. Is this to prevent possible glitching if someone tries to place a perfect tree of their non-native fruit? If not I can get the IDs for the perfect peach trees later on today, and perfect apple trees from my other town as well, and then some kind soul can hopefully get the IDs for perfect cherry trees and perfect pear trees??

In order to place perfect fruit trees you must change the item flag. You can even place all perfect fruit trees in your town :-)
