great. we're happy for you. if you don't want to share anything with anyone here, just... don't talk about it ?
He has offered to talk about it, give tips on how it's possible to do, and he has at least shown it's possible at all.

Maybe this was a personal challenge for him. Maybe he doesn't want to lay down a red carpet for Nintendo to send angry letter to him?

^ This.

iPhone NFC is locked to transactions. And to get an app past apple? no. Making a Cydia app wouldn't really be worth the time seeing how long it took him to write it for android.
Well ofc I meant for jailbroken devices, guess we will have to wait for a port if the source is ever available.

Awww snap, if this ever gets a proper release, I may have to complete replace my amiiqo which I paid like $50 for, and I wouldn't even care, this is awesome, well done. I will watch this project closely.

It has been a personal challenge for almost a year now. Honestly, I would release it but you would need to flash firmware and stuff just for a chance of it working on your phone.
Plus, I don't really want a couple lawyers knocking on my door in the morning. I am just showing that it is possible, and if someone else wants to word towards a public release, they can.

If there is a way to release something where I can claim 0% responsibility I would.

iPhone 6 compatible?
Concidering everything I had to do to get it to work on android, I belive it would be impossible on an iPhone. I also don't have an iPhone to mess around with, but ff you would send me one, I would gladly look into it.

You can emulate Amiibos with the Amiiqo device but yeah... it's not free. I bought one and it works just fine using your phone if it's compatible. I had to buy the usb adapter for pc because it didn't like my phones nfc chip.

Anonymous pastebin via TOR would cover you pretty well  Still, if it can be done by one person, I'm sure others can pull it off. If not, that thread investigating cloning amiibos to blank NFC tags seems to be making good headway.
