He releases it and he could get sued. It's nearly happened before with other NFC-cloning devices for games like Skylanders and Infinity. It's the only reason why amiiqo and whatnot are things rather than people using NFC on their phones.

For a comparison they never seem to be able to find and sue people who dump 3DS ROMs etc. onto the internet and that would be worse than releasing a tool that spoofs Amiibo NFC data seeing as selling games is likely Nintendo's largest source of income from consumers (maybe the licensing costs they charge to developers is more)

Also I dont see why people are saying its fake. Most phones have an NFC chip that can send data so all you have to do is emulate/spoof the Amiibo's NFC data

The kind of reactions this thread gets is EXACTLY why many good devs don't release anything on this forum. They post a little teaser, people start by calling it fake, then as time passes people gradually become aggressive, and in the end the dev is fed up with all that ungrateful community and decide not to release anything. Sorry to be that guy but that's what happened with KTM. JustPingo ACTUALLY was going to release something (just see the halfway finished thing on his GitHub), but most of you were offensive douchebags so he decided to stop doing anything for such a shitty community.

nope, ktm and safesysupdater are NOT the same thing. they are different. justpingo didn't released ktm, safesysupdater was maded by another user.
