from what Im reading on their website it looks like you activate it from the console after installing. Im thinking the webapage you guys found is simply an alternative method for those that dont want to or cant put their switch online.

Probably, i think u will copy a file created after installation of SX OS to that site and it will authenticate the file so u can copy it back to switch.

That's the assumption im making based on the instructions.
"Activate your SX OS License to enjoy all features. Enter the "album viewer" from the main menu and click on "license"

The step after that is "Enjoy the latest games and homebrew!"

yep thats exactly what i understood also. offline switch use the webpage to get the install license code
