I noticed there was a tutorial how to deal with this but it was more or less written for Gateway users and I figured alot of people will run into the same problem given the recent downgrade and emuNAND craze. I'm willing to make this a full tutorial and move it to the Tutorials & FAQs section but since I'm still new to 3DS hacking I wanted to make sure the following is correct:

0: Backup current emuNAND
1: Launch Pasta CFW in sysNAND and install FBI
2: Clone current sysNAND to emuNAND via EmuNAND9
3: Format sysNAND to unlink both NANDs
4: Start emuNAND via rxTools and install Big Blue Menu, Free Multi Patcher and sysUpdater
5: Update to 9.5 with sysUpdater and install cVer and nVer with Big Blue Menu
6: Reboot emuNAND, start Free Multi Patcher and login to NNID
7: Start EmuNAND9 in sysNAND and restore emuNAND backup

Is that correct? Are any steps redundant or is there a faster way? Thanks for help in advance!

skydx what are you doing here shooo and yes its correct

Squee I haven't seen you in ages, glad to see you again! :D (Where's your sig? :P) How have you been? And thanks, I found an even easier way now. With your NANDs unlinked, backup the SD card and emuNAND partition, format emuNAND via the system settings, login to your NNID and restore the backups!
