Hacking AKAIO 1.8.2

This is great news.
I've only got the problem that i cannot change any settings of the system anymore because it always resets to the original settings. so it isn't possible to change the theme or language.
Does anybody else got this problem. I own a NDS Lite and a 4GB Sandisk microSD.

EDIT: I don't know about anyone else but I did a fresh install and I get the following messages:

The skin Adv.EvoR can't be found
Adv.EvoR couldnt be found either
Please delete globalsettings.ini
and restore Adv.EvoR theme.

I've done a check and Adv.EvoR is there and I have no idea where globalsettings.ini is..

No idea what would cause that, try reformatting your sd.

EDIT: File removed because of a BRICKING occuring with this release.

Looks like its been taken down from the AKAIO forums because of bricking. Mine's running fine at the moment though

Nope, I tried just then. I get the same results. >.<

I formatted my rebranded A-Data 4GB Class 6 with the Panasonic SD Formatter 2.0 and I get the same message.

Yeah it's been removed from everywhere, don't update, OP should remove the links and info.

I thnk something is screwed up. I cant change anything on Akaio 1.8.2. I tried to change language, brightness, theme, but it failed. Acekard was freezing trying reset soft to apply changes, or soft was reseted but nothing changed in settings.

You will probably find those with bricking or other problems have initially just overwritten the files already on their card instead of deleting and placing a fresh copy on. This seems to occur with every new release, it is always important to delete _aio first to ensure any config, cheat and AP config files have been removed.

For those of you who still have Taiju's loaders this release loads ROMS fine from Moonshell and DScovered.

I actually never delete my __aio folder, I just copy the new files in. I've not had a problem with that yet but it's probably not the best way to do things. I like to keep my configs, haha.

Man, that's a bummer. I was excited about the update until I read about the bug.
At least I'm glad I was lazy enough to not update it as soon as I downloaded it.

As for the bricking, the AK2i is not perfect, simply reflash it and it should be okay.

EDIT: Wow it just poofed away... Well the bricking thing was probably just a small mistake. (Hopefully) It should be back up soon.
