It's downloading now all of a sudden ... weird. (But now my DSOrganize Internet Browser doesn't work.) I've noticed that the download is SLOW.

Wait ... now all of a sudden the download has stopped at 103/938kb!

I've been trying for ever but I just downloaded the file my self (XML and some others). So it saves me time.

How does the power off button thingy work? And what settings do you need (if any)? I tried and failed.

Also, maybe I can't download the new cheats cause I already have the latest one? I'll try again when the Cheat DB gets updated.

And oh, btw, it seems the "power off" button in the help screen is still here, although not visible...
You need a bmp image with the filename of "poweroff.bmp" in the __aio folder to make it visible.
I just use this:
poweroff.jpg
Just put the image there, turn your DS on, START, Help, touch the icon. The DS will turn off.
For me, it's useless. People who use original cartriges don't have "power off icon", soft-reset, etc., yet their DS don't break.

some people switch between 100+ games at a time and so would use the button alot more purely because they have so many games.
its a nice feature imo but not essential by any means.
iirc with bliss it used to get infront of the firmware number anyway.

I tried it and it didn't work. I saved the image in your as poweroff.bmp so then I placed it in the __aio folder but I don't see it when I click Start > Help. Although I don't find it useful enough because it makes me spend more time turning off the DS.

Well still no luck with my AceKard 2 with AKAIO.
r2 still thinks that my AK2 is a RPG, using 2 microSD Kingston of 1 gigabyte each, tried FAT16, FAT32, both via windows' xp formatter. Waiting for r3, I'm thankful for coders efforts =)

it's a jpg on the forum, needs to be a 15bpp (16-bit) bmp.

you can always touch the invisible box if you like it.
i have no clue why it was in bliss' except for the fact it was in the RPG firmware since like day 1 i think, just not used at all.

near the end, bliss was just going through the acekard team's comments and reenabling stuff they took out (SD speed settings, etc.)

I did change it to .bmp by saving it as poweroff.bmp but as to 15bpp (16-bit), I'm confused and I don't find a use for this feature except for show-off purposes.

if you have a copy of the old bliss firmware then use the bmp in there
if you dont find a use then dont worry about it

OK, so this is odd.
I reformatted my NAND and AIO boots up, but only if my SDHC card is not inserted.
When I try to launch it w/the card in I get the frozen first screen with no skin.
My SD card is An A-Data 4g...maybe thats the problem, I dunno.

AIO(r2) still wont boot with my SD card inserted, el lamo.
1.1 works though.
I have this same exact problem, but I have a 2GB Sandisk MicroSD card.
Confirming, I have exactly the same problem. AKRPG with 4GB Kingston class4 MicroSDHC.

I also have the same problem, just so you know.

I have a 2GB Kingston MicroSD.

I guess I am going to not use the r2 for now

I've a bug, it will show a menu that has flash memory, microsd, and slot 2, I assume as if it were an RPG.

If I select either one of those, it will show a box with the word "text" in the box and freeze.
I don't believe anything is shown on the upper screen, either.
If I press start, it will freeze.

I've tried a completely fresh install. Same issue.

I've a Micro SD Kingston made in japan 1 GB
(i've tried to format without flag on "Quick Format" but no changements)

And, i haven't any globalsettings.ini in my folder __aio that i downloaded in this site

Same thing as mine, maybe the next revision will have a detection system that will work properly, let's hope that the new detection routine works without problems.

I found some bugs on my RPG (A-Data MicroSDHC 4 GB Class 6 - I'm using 1.1 because r2 didn't work, as reported before):
- AKAIO crashes completely opening large .cc's (such as the pokemon one)
- sometimes it goes in a "loop" (the disk activity icon keeps blinking and you can only shut down the console) when you view files properties or you generate .cc's from the database
- save types bigger than 8M don't work at all (tested with daigasso DX, it gives an error when booted)
- complete crash after a save backup/restore.
All the other features work fine, great job!
