AIO 1.1 Soul Bubbles, TWEWY save files not recognized
This is not "really" a bug. You probably overwrited or deleted savelist.bin and/or savelistex.bin.

I'm not that daft (although, the outdated savelist is logical hypothesis). I didnt delete or overwrite savelist.bin or savelistex.bin.(replacing the savelist doesn't help, either). All I did is update the akmenu4.nds.
I then tried a clean install, but still no go.

The game saves work on official and bliss loaders, though.

I dont care about TWEWY, but I am currently playing SoulBubbles, so.....

I rilly like AIO and hope the "bugs" get worked out on the next release, and 1.2 will be more RPG friendly for me.

@ logical thinker, do you have a link to your updated(newer than the bliss one)savelist.bin you mentioned at post 20?

Sorry. That was unlikely.
Just to confirm, is the save type correct?

I'll upload those files and an updated gamedata.bin for the gelu's firmware.

awesome. 2 confirmed successes from people with SDHC problems on 1.1r2 that the latest build with Norm's EEPROM detection routine fixes.

So yay, that'll be in the next release. Can't just "r3" it since there's other stuff being worked on.

Martin - the options screen is normal... I figured with Wifi being in there and routines for downloading being in there, you never know what other stuff could in theory be updated online or just what options could be enabled/disabled.

I have a quick question. When the Acekard2 saves is it supposed to timestamp a last modified date into the save? If so why isn't it doing so on mine
tongue.gif
? If not, would it be possible to add this in? Or is this something I should be asking the lead team?

I have the same problem. The modify date on my save files don't change after the file is created. The problem isn't limited to AIO though. Won't that mess up programs like Rominator that attempt to do automatic backups?

It does mess up Rominator's Save Defender. That's the only reason I asked
tongue.gif
. Well mess up isn't entirely accurate, Save Defender just can't recognize modified saves therefore no backups are made.

i don't feel like adding more string searching to the already complicated SAV system. just changing the extension from .nds.sav to .sav took too long.
don't feel like detecting #s as well.
Just be a man and back it up the good ol fashioned way.

Hahah, fair enough, I already do anyways.

I'm curious as to why the official loader doesn't do that already. Seems like something that it would do automatically every time it wrote out a save file. It would be useful for sorting the save files to see which ones have been changed recently so that I don't have to back up all my saves all the time.

So is there something special required to upgrade from 1.1 to r2? I replaced the .nds file on my RPG and all I'm getting is the BSoD.

So there is an issue on the RPG..no big deal though, I saved the old one just in case.

There's a bug with the cheats that I'm trying to look into, has anybody else noticed them stop working after a game reset? It works like this:

Playing FFTA2 with the 'all laws disabled' cheat. I found a great way to confirm whether it's in effect or not, press Y before starting a battle then the law will change to something like "NOT_IN_USE".

Anyway it took awhile to figure out why the cheats were working so sporadically. Apparently if I press L+R+start+select to restart the game, cheats can't enable at that point. Press L+R+up as many times as you want, they just don't enable unless I reboot the DS and reload the game.

Is it just me or this AIO slower than the normal firmware? Like, the thing flashes for a couple of seconds before it goes into the folder.

r2 is working great on my rpg. I just replaced the .nds file.

When you were using the normal firmware did you have less games in the folder than you have now?

Just wanted to make a quick report. I've loaded 1.1r2 on my AK2 with Kingston 1GB, and everything is working absolutely fine.

Thank you for your great effort !

And oh, btw, it seems the "power off" button in the help screen is still here, although not visible...

Well, okay because I organized the folders differently between firmwares, I'll have to check again. But with the official firmware, I had it organized by folders for every letter with around 80 games total. But with AIO, I had 3 folders with like 15 games total.
But I'll check again with both firmwares after I organize my card.

per icon file searching + per filetype = slower folder loading.
don't store so much in folders as well really.

dunno about BSOD or cheats.

I've had to format my RPG a few times randomly in testing, just because it really really detests being reset or anything while things are being written. I've had my whole /ui directory disappear, TXT files become corrupted, etc.

good little card but goddamn it doesn't like to be interrupted.

You need a bmp image with the filename of "poweroff.bmp" in the __aio folder to make it visible.
I just use this:
poweroff.jpg

It was from bliss' menu.

But its not like your going to use that poweroff button often.
