Homebrew After Changing region JPN to USA, it deleted my CIA apps like FBI and refuses to open Homebrew

I bought a lavender 2ds LL and installed Luma first. Once I did I followed the instructions to change the region so that I could read it in English. It looked like everything worked, I updated my device and now all my apps like FBI, Updater, Anemone, stuff like that is gone. I try to reinstall through download play by setting it as the HB app but it gives me an error Processor: Arm9 Exception type: data abort.

Is there any way to fix this?

I would try the https://3ds.hacks.guide/restoring-cfw and seeing if that helps to get everything back and running for you

My SD card was actually corrupted and refused to open homebrew. After I changed it to a new 128GB formatted to FAT32, everything went back to normal. Took a while, but I'm glad. Thank you for sending me the link! Was also thinking of just doing that if my method didn't work.

Hey you don't have to get a new sd card just formate the old one that happens to me also how do you transfer homebrew on a 3ds?

id say no to that if the previous card was known corrupt. You would wind up with more issues if that happened.
