I'm gonna be switching from tiscali broadband shortly (contract is up. Hoorah). All of these online line checkers tell me that the fastest line I can sopport is about 4.9mbps, so I should opt for an 8mbps connection for best results. 'Be' however are telling me that I can realistically get about 14mbps using their 24mbps adsl2 product. Does anyone know how adsl2 works? Can it really squeeze all that extra juice out of my connection or are 'Be' just lying to get me on board?
