Hacking Acekard 2i update

I just got the Acekard 2i 1.4 firmware update and now I've got some questions about it.

• Is it possible that when you update your Acekard 2i with the update, it will fail?
• The update is real right? And it works?
• What if it fails, what happens then? Can you start over with the update or not?
• When you have updated the Acekard 2i firmware, you update your NDSi firmware and then still safely play with the Acekard 2i?

I was wondering why this update can not be found on the official acecard site (www.acekard.com)

They mention "Do not update your DSi to 1.4"

The upgrade just makes your Acekard 2i bootable from DSi 1.4 firmware. No changes have been made to setup.

Acekard doesn't have it on their site because it's copyright infringement (using parts of the Dany Phantom game) and they don't want to be tied to it. It was created by them though.

I can confirm it works great... I have it on my 1.4 DSi and it runs the exact same, except for good old Danny popping up when you plug it in.

Its not officially made by the Acekard group, its unofficially made by the Acekard guys. You have to realize that there is a difference.
