Got AC:CF about, 2-3 days ago. I'm really enjoying the game play so far.

But I just have a quick question about the grass in your town, and how it gets worn out when you run over it.

Take a look at this image I got from taking a picture of the game and saving it to my SD:

See how the grass is all scuffed up? That's usually the route I take to get to Nooks and to cross a bridge.

I was wondering, will it ever go away? It makes my town look messy and whatnot.

Also, does anyone else notice that?

    I think it's a cool feature, imo.

I guess that's where the shoe shiner comes into play.

LOL... very interesting! I'm surprised that the Animal Crossing creators would include such a tiny detail..

This is what the page supplied by Johnatton states:

    @ Johnatton

Oh wow, thanks for that. That cleared it up a lot for me. I understand it now.

Yup the terrain in this game, everything you do in it, it has an effect to it much more than the previous games. While it may get ripped on for how it looks and the large pile of similarities to the last two versions there's a ton of new stuff to do, or in cases like this to see that will just be weeded out over time.
