Hacking A9LH+Luma o3DS to stock n3DS. Do I transfer before or after mods?

So, I grabbed of one of those Mario Edtion ˗ˏˋnewˎˊ˗ Nintendo 3DS systems and I want to transfer my o3DS stuff to it, but I've never done a transfer before.



I plan on doing a hardmod and installing A9LH and Luma to the n3DS and my question is:

Should I do the mods before transferring from the modded o3DS or after the transfer?

I wasn't able to find the exact answer by searching.

Answer and tips are appreciated.

If you plan to doing hardmod, it doesn't matter.
Since even system transfer remove A9LH, you can easily install it again.
Still not sure system transfer will remove A9LH or not.

It'll remove A9LH on the recieving system?
So I should do the transfer, then do the downgrade?

No it wont remove arm9lh.

Well, hardmodding is kind of fun and I already have leftover jst connectors and plenty of thirty gauge kynar wire, so I'll go that route.

You should follow that guide anyway, it's good stuff. I don't think it really matters when you transfer.

Took a look and noticed that I already had an exploitable DSi title, so I gave it a whirl and everything went smoothly.
