Use this gif instead. I have no idea why it did what you described at first but I re-encoded it in Premiere and this one should go through the script and display properly

It would help A LOT if you at least posted what OS you're using, what build of ffmpeg you're trying to install, what version, etc...
Just follow a guide online, it's not that hard

If I were to make a .gif, would someone be so kind as to convert it to the correct format (anim I believe) for me? I can't actually do it myself, I have a few I would like to do, initially I was just going to use them personally but if someone did it for me I wouldn't mind if they were shared here too for others to use.

This design was originally done by @RMZK here. I modified it a bit and added few letters for AuReiNand users. I've tried to convert it to anim but not quite sure if it works as I haven't been able to test it yet.

EDIT: Made a slightly longer version and changed the config fps (seems to be smoother at 25fps) Linky

Retry it at 12-15 fps. Anime is usually at 24fps natively but start at 15 and work your way down until it's smooth on your 3ds.

Gifs are pretty much a single loop, so you'd have to edit it to loop a couple of times if you want it to last longer
