A guess this is a first for nintendo, and everyone who has updated their system is in for a surprise, and there seems to be a slight error with doing so. Updating your wii with the first update will cause the system to be bricked, and therefor inoperable leaving it to be repaired by nintendo themselves. Now i know sony has had a lot of problems in getting their systems to work right, but im so glad i didn't wait in line to buy a wii just so it to turn into a paper weight the very next day...talk about the worst thing that could happen.
