I have Luma 8.1.1, 11.5.0-38 and boot9strap. I have 2 questions: Can .cias be update by eshop? and Can I play online on a .cia? (obviously without cheating) Im thinking something like Mario Kart Or Pokémon Moon

Could you be banned by using legit Pkhexed pokémon on sun and moon?

As long as the sanity checks for "could have gotten this in game" are passed, there is no way for them to tell that it was hexed, and since it gives no unfair competitive advantage, you should not get banned.
