Um... Scratch isn't new? Pretty sure it's been around since like 2005.
what are the pros\cons of scratch? what it can do ,what it can't do? post more info!
No. It's actually created since 2001
You know it is currently 2017 right?
Then where did you pull the term 'new' from??
I posted it cs no one posted it.
This looks like one of those threads that are actually made on the scratch forum
Is this one of those slowpoke moments ?
It's apt to children, to learn how to program.
But if you want to learn to program you can use it too.
You can see the creations of people and people can see yours.
Pros: it's very intuitive and easy
Cons: it's not profesional
I actually found Scratch harder to use than an actual programming language lmao
Even Python is easier than this shit people call Scratch.
^ It is difficult always searching for blocks, while in python I do memorise a lot of instructions easily
Scratch is an actual piece of shit. They say it'll teach kids to code, well ok if that's true, it's been 16 years, where are all these fucking coders scratch has made?
I don't think that it's shit :c
not much. its a drag and drop system. its pretty shitty.
It's not the best, ik, but it's good to start.
The best start is C++. The logic is to use it to learn all of the big strict rules. Then, as you go to other languages, you can learn to break some of the rules and learn only a few small rules.
Saw someone here (I think) post this... Very useful: https://imgur.com/gallery/o2RxN
