I can see what's making the shoe on the right and the cig on the left, if we had a clearer picture we could make out other features, it's possible to make something like this.

It's a gallery art piece, so yeah, it's "fake," I suppose. Not photoshopped, though.

At first it reminded me of Fraggle Rock, but then I saw the shadows.

No it's fake. You can see by the laces on the shoe on the female to the right, also with the glass she is drinking from.

So this is real? Seems like it would be impossible to spend that much time to make a garbage pile have the shadows of a real human figure. And they look like humans, not at all does this look like "squint your eyes" kind of art... Amazing if this is real and it's not an artist pulling our legs.
