Back on topic, I've watched the trailer and it looks like huh... A Flash animation of something static.

...Which is exactly what it is.
TRAILERS
The NEW FULLY ANIMATED TRAILER will be released in early July, so keep an eye out for it!
Till then, you can enjoy the “Old Trailer

Wasn't the real trailer.

I don't see how any Zelda animations can work. I mean, Link's mute in the games.

It's based on the MANGA! And in the manga, he talks.

OK let me rephrase it... no, scratch that,t I'm just going to repeat what I said:

How do you not understand it? It's based off a manga in which he talks.

If it was based off ALTtP game I would understand.

Maybe I'm missing something. Is Manga not animation?

No.
Manga is like a comic in the US
Animation(or anime) is the adaptation of it in motion.

Japanese comics or Manga has they call it are different than comics else were. First off they are in black and white. 2nd. Manga has a lot more pages. Usage one manga is equal to the size of 8-12 NA/UK comics. 3rd. In Manga once the overall story is finished that's it. It doesn't keep going forever, there is an end...eventually.

Correction. Anime is sort of like an animated manga. Not always an adaptation, although there is more anime adaptations than original anime.

Manga is literally translated into comic in Japan. In other countries, it's used to define Japanese comics. First off they are mostly in black and white. There are a few exceptions though, especially in Japanese porn. 2nd, manga usually have more pages in a volume. Usually one manga volume is equal to the size of 2-5 NA/UK comics. 3rd, in manga once the overall story is finished that's usually it. It doesn't keep going forever, there is an end...eventually. This is not the case for some mangas that are extremely popular. They have several "seasons". This can be seen in Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Fixed!

1) There are US comics in black and white, and some Japanese comics are colored.
2) The exact length of each isn't intrinsically tied to either comic form.
3) Some Manga go on forever with no set ending in place. Some US comics have a set, definitive end with continuation.

I was trying to keep it simple. YU-Gi-OH just has multiple series. When one ends they make a new one with new main characters. Still doesn't count as a going on forever. Only recent manga: case closed, one piece, naruto, and bleach, have become extremely long and yet to have an ending.
