Yes. https://www.reddit.com/r/SwitchHaxi...e_app_now_works_on_banned_switches_and_90dns/Will 90dns allow me to use the YouTube app?
I tried downloading the Patched YouTube NSP while using 90dns and I keep getting this message? I then decided to delete the NSP and then redownload while in flight mode and I get the same message.. Im on System Version 6.2.0 running Kosmos Atmosphere 0.8.5.

I've downloaded a "Youtube patched" NSP but thats the one that gives me the message.
And by downloaded and update you mean downloaded an update? Why do you have it set to auto download updates if you're blocking services?Welp, used this, and console still downloaded and update, [Did not install it, and obviously deleted it] but still, the update was downloaded.
You do know that there's no option to NOT auto download the update, right? And by downloaded and update you mean downloaded an update? Why do you have it set to auto download updates if you're blocking services?
contacted AVE, ad she/he said that theres an issue with some cases that the update seems to bypass the DNS.Just tried to manually update, no success. So double check your DNS settings so you really got both DNS adresses with the 90DNS adresses.

Tagging you both to clear up a misunderstanding. The feature "Auto-Update Software" only refers to game updates, not firmware updates. Firmware updates cannot be disabled manually and requires the usage of DNS settings, Incognito, absence of Wi-Fi settings, etc.You do know that there's no option to NOT auto download the update, right?
I did knew that. But thanks.Tagging you both to clear up a misunderstanding. The feature "Auto-Update Software" only refers to game updates, not firmware updates. Firmware updates cannot be disabled manually and requires the usage of DNS settings, Incognito, absence of Wi-Fi settings, etc.

Did you ever look into where the Switch is pinging to get that update from even with 90DNS enabled? Or do you not have those tools on your computer?I did knew that. But thanks.
To be fair, I am on flight mode and still get that - gotten that without being online at all. So it might be built in the OS itself.I am using 90DNS and I get news in the home screen and games warn me when they have an update available. I am pretty puzzled.
Built in or not, it's still checking an online source. How else would the OS become aware of the availability of an update? To be fair, I am on flight mode and still get that - gotten that without being online at all. So it might be built in the OS itself.
