A bit offtopic but what you did was super cumbersome. Pip is just a python package manager (utility to download and take care of python extra libraries). If you downloaded a python installer which I'm sure you did, you would already have pip installed.
Then all you had to do was run a command line (e.g WindowsKey+R => cmd) and then do the "pip install whatever".
As for running the script the using an IDE part is not "wrong" per se but could had downloaded the python script, change to that directory on command line (e.g "cd "c:\users\tommy\Downloads") and run it with "python script.python".
This doesn't work. Myself and a few friends had it set up on all wifi networks and we now have the update nag.
sounds to me nintendo changed the servers to get around 90dns rendering it ineffective for now
I don't dare to use 90dns because of the risk of nintendo changing servers, but I would be happy to use it if you could make modified version that only works for YouTube, Hulu, retroarch, etc and local FTP purposes, but blocks everything else. That way server changes would not be an issue. I have my phone for browsing.

Blame your ISP, works perfectly for me and many others. I'm still investigating anyways, but it does not sound to me like a 90dns problem.sounds to me nintendo changed the servers to get around 90dns rendering it ineffective for now
yt/hulu requires dauth. dauth is banbait.I don't dare to use 90dns because of the risk of nintendo changing servers, but I would be happy to use it if you could make modified version that only works for YouTube, Hulu, retroarch, etc and local FTP purposes, but blocks everything else. This isn't working at the moment for me. Worked for two weeks then suddenly the Switch will connect to the internet but when I test the internet it fails the test. Tried on 3 different Wifis, my own, my friend who uses Verizon internet and one friend that uses Xfinity so its not ISP and its not my setup since I haven't changed anything and it stopped working. Is anyone else having issues?
If both servers are down at once then it will just refuse connection, otherwise to my knowledge both servers are up and running properly
idk then it was setup properly 24 hours ago and now I'm getting Error Code: 2160-8007 and when running the test it lists the SSID and the second it gets to Internet Connection it fails and result in that error code.
Thanks, I don't know how I missed that as a symptom of it working, Sorry. Thanks again

There's a problem with Title installers on 7.0.0
Simply trying to install NSPs in general crashes Atmosphere for me.
Haven't used a custom DNS. Also that product is even more likely to get you banned if you tamper with it too much.Using custom DNS's to do this stuff is unreliable. If your console downloaded the 7.0 update, then 90DNS also likely just got you banned. Try incognito:

Stop spreading misinformation, and don't spam my threads. I only answered your thread because you were spreading incorrect information about 90DNS, but no one mentioned you here.
In the past I've talked with various people who stated that they got updates downloaded (with 90DNS on), and no one who connected properly (by following the guide, and wasn't getting DNS hijacked) was banned.
Your argument is invalid.
