Hey everyone,
I have a softmodded Wii that I'd like to play retro games on.I had been contemplating to buy a SNES-gamecube adapter to play with, since using the classic controller plugged in the wiimote brings a lot of input latency. Now my eye has fallen onto the 8Bitdo SD30 Pro controller. It looks really nice and i have heard good things about it. Problem however is, that it uses a USB cable. I have yet to find an adapter that i can plug into the gamecube port of my wii and can plug a usb into. Does anyone here know if its possible to set all this up correctly?
Also, I just read through on old thread that discussed problems people were having with using the SN30 controller on a wii. They mentioned that you have to "trick" your wii into thinking its a wiimote as p2. Then remove the p1 wiimote so you can navigate menus and control games with the Bitdo controller.
Is anyone here currently using a SD30 Pro controller on their wii? I want it wired because the latency im experiencing with my classic controller (it is 3rd party sadly, maybe thats got something to do with it) is unbearable. If yes, would you please be so kind as to explain what hardware you use and how to set all this up correctly?
Thanks a lot in advance and enjoy the rest of your day,
Arthur
