Hey guys i'm pretty new to this, can anyone help me to get a 60fps mod for Octopath traveler 2 on Yuzu?
I'm pretty lost.
Any help will be appreciated
i swear to god its impossible to find help about this im losing my god damn mind nobody wants to help
CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW TO USE THIS CRAP ON YUZU

i love the emulator BUT OH MY GOD THIS EXPERIENCE IS COMPLETE TRASH

ANYWAY I FIGURED IT OUT AND THIS SH** IS JUST BROKEN
github yuzu-emu/yuzu/issues/7889

anyway here's what you gotta do if they ever fix it
push win + r, paste %AppData%\yuzu\load\0100A3501946E000

create a folder, call it 60 FPS
open the 60 fps folder

create a folder, call it cheats
open the cheats folder

create a text file, name it 65619A04B8A04B10.txt (this is for version 1.0.0 of the game, i cant patch the game for some reason on yuzu? wtf)
open the text file

paste this crap in it and save
[60 FPS]
580F0000 0762CD80
580F1000 000000C0
780F0000 00000F14
640F0000 00000000 00000001
580F0000 076B7F60
780F0000 00000044
680F0000 42700000 42700000

open yuzu
right click on octopath traveler 2, select properties, in the addons tab enable the cheat

if you want to add separate cheats, you need to create separate folders, and separate text files for all of them

BUT BECAUSE THIS CRAP IS BROKEN, IT NO WORKEY
yuzu-emu/yuzu/issues/7889

anyway at least i dont need to lose my mind anymore

your file structure should look like this
AppData\Roaming\yuzu\load\0100A3501946E000\60 FPS\cheats\65619A04B8A04B10.txt
use tinfoil dot io to get the build id, find your game, then scroll to the bottom of the page, and copy the first 16 digits, v0 = version 1.0.0

anyway i thought i was retarded because i've been trying to get this to work FOR HOURS but no its just broken
EVEN THE CHAT GPT AI FROM BING COULDNT HELP ME, BUT THAT THING IS BRAIN DEAD ANYWAY

computers are stupid, people are stupid
ALL THE ADVICE YOU SEE ON THE INTERNET IS WRONG, IT LITERALLY DOESNT WORK, AAAAAH

I TRIED THE SAME CHEATS ON RYUJINX AND THEY WORKED PERFECTLY FINE, IM GOING CRAZY HERE

This cheat format normally doesn't work on yuzu. it only works on console and Ryujinx.

Is there any extra step (besides overclocking) to maintain 60fps in Zelda Breath of the Wild?

Sometimes the program closes and the frame rate goes between 30 and 60 but in a totally unstable way.

Update: I have raised the limit to 60fps with the fps plugin and activated the lower resolution cheat at 720p to make the fps rate more stable, it seems to work fine, although I'm not convinced about being at maximum overclock terms all the time 😂

Any hope for a fix to the judder in final fantasy pixel remaster. This article explains the issue and how it was modded on PC the address the problem.

Why Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster is stuttering or juddering

The reason why you are seeing a lot of stuttering or juddering when playing the PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch versions of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games is due to a mismatch of the character’s movement with the frame rate.

The character sprites in Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI all move at 80 pixels per second instead of 60 pixels per second. As a result, the background movement does not look smooth at all.

Can you fix the stutter or judder on PS4 or Nintendo Switch?

The stutters and judders also appear in the PC versions of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection. Fans were able to create a mod to fix the issue by limiting the character movement to 60 pixels per second or increasing the movement to 120 pixels per second.

To find out more about how you can fix the PC releases of these games, you can check out

is due to a mismatch of the character’s movement with the frame rate.
This is actually bullshit on Switch. Issue is that game has framepacing issues everywhere, even if you don't do anything. Changing movement speed doesn't help properly. Just by slowing down characters you are getting less visible stuttering which is obvious, it's not a proper fix. Stutterings are still there in the same amount. Already tested this with FF I by modifying Movement Magnifications.

C#:
// Namespace: Last.Entity.Field
public class FieldPlayerConstants // TypeDefIndex: 5311
{
    // Fields
    public const float MovementWalkSpeedMagnification = 1,2;
    public const float MovementDashSpeedMagnification = 2,4;
    public const float MovementAirShipSpeedMagnification = 4;
    public const float MovementShipSpeedMagnification = 2,4;
    public const float MovementChocoboSpeedMagnification = 1,8;

    // Methods

    // RVA: 0x220AE80 Offset: 0x220AF81 VA: 0x220AE80
    public void .ctor() { }
}
You need to just multiply every one of those by (3/4) to get movement speed used by PC mod.

I'm attaching exefs patch for anybody to see it yourself. No matter how much you will OC Switch, framepacing here has nothing to do with hardware, but with badly written graphics pipeline.

My graph mode I'm testing in Status Monitor is showing when game has perfect 60 FPS framepacing by rendering green line instead of white line. In case of all FFPR games I'm practically never getting green line though it's on 60 FPS graph height, and FPS Counter is constantly jumping.

Remember that this is not true 2D game, Unity is a 3D engine. So movement tied to pixels doesn't exist here

Is there a 60fps cheat for Dredge? i try searching everywhere but it seem like there isn't any
It's not that easy with this game. 3D space is rendered at separate graphics pipeline that is locked to 30 FPS.
By setting NVN interval to 1 you can get 60 FPS in 2D space, but 3D space will remain at 30 FPS.
If you want to check that, you can use FPSLocker to unlock FPS of this game.
I am planning to look at it deeper, but it won't be for a long time.

If you don't mind, you can unlock 60 FPS with FPSLocker in any version of P5R.

Is there a cheat or patch for Grandia II?
I know the battles are in 60fps, but everything else runs at 30fps and its really jarring after every fight...

@masagrator from ignorance, would it make sense a patch that limits the fps to 40, for example? For having a higher fps rate but not forcing the console so much in long games.
