Hey everyone,
I've been overclocking my Nintendo Switch to reach 60 FPS with reasonable dips in performance while playing games like Monster Hunter Rise. However, my Switch's temperature consistently hovers around 65-71°C during extended gaming sessions. Is this safe for everyday use?

Details:
I've overclocked my V1 Switch to 1224/844/1600 and used a GFX cheat to maintain 60 FPS with occasional dips.

Seeking Advice:
I'd appreciate insights from experienced users regarding the safety of these temperatures and my setup. Can the Switch handle 65-71°C everyday ?

Thanks for your input!

Your battery shouldn't exceed 60C while discharging or 45C while charging.

You can check it with InfoNX.

If your SoC temperature (the smallest temperature value) in Status Monitor is above 63°C. I would seriously consider thermal paste / additional cooling. Hardware insta shuts off at 83°C but you don't want to get close.
