So all that hype for the 28th was pointless and I waiting for this heap of shit? I'm finding it less worth standing by waiting for a custom firmware. It's not like the Wii or ps2 where having as cfw meant customization of a lot of the features and adding new ones, it's mostly cheats and free games that are relatively inexpensive for most. Fan someone please tell me why I should stay on 5.55?

We're still waiting on the M0rpheus exploit where you hijack video apps, similar to the 3ds or WiiU, can't remember which. It's supposedly going to be for 6.02/6.20, probably 6.20 since the video applications require a connection to PSN.

If you want to play the new games, you should update or buy new console for hacking.
I list all interests on PS4 hacking long time ago, mostly because there is no usefully hombrews like the switch and the 3DS, even the Vita has enough hombrews that worth it for hacking.

Maybe next year or in the EOL of PS4 we will see full hack for PS4.

Like I said Gamesharing on PS4 is not new. I've been doing it for several years. I'm on more than one forum that rents and sells gameshare accounts.

Nobody can tell you what YOU should do with YOUR PS4's firmware. The options are obvious. You stay on 5.55 you can't play games above 5.55, you update you might miss a hack later. You want the best of both worlds buy another PS4. It's not brain surgery.

this whole fiasco just enforces the notion of pc master race. i'd imagine most people are only interested in the exclusives on ps4 other wise the toy would be boxed up. the weeks of teasing and hype only made matters worse.

I've been around the block quite a few times, and playing video games doesn't appeal to me. Its the hobby. console modding and learning about it from community. The trolls were the people on twitter

When this method was announced it was clearly stated that it was a method or a "glitch" and it was only for games and that it was not a kexploit.
If you spent the last 2 weeks thinking your > 5.5X was going to get a hack to install fpkg games then you need to read and understand what was originally said.

Without the ability to run code or a kexploit you cant load hen so fpkg games are not going to be a thing.

Toxic behavior will only serve to have people that are in the possession of glitches or exploits to not release them and all that does is stall progress.

If you want to say the scene is dead then you only have yourselves to blame in the end

The person who has it (if he really even does) Mathieu is considered to be the toxic one by many, and even if he does have a newer hack it doesn't mean there's not other people out there that can't come up with a newer hack. You know you don't have everything you need with 5.05 because you can't play newer games or games that haven't come out with yet. Unless you never plan to get another game on PS4 past March 2018 or have a second PS4 you don't have all the games that are out or are coming out.

Point is you're buying into what one guy says about the entire scene being toxic when it's just not true, and that one guy will not stop the scene from continuing eventually.
