    crossfire 2 4650 oced at 778/480 i already have one 4650 so yea.....OR should i get nvida and which nvidia card? my budget is around 100$ and i want to be able to max out on 1600x900 thanks

    the gts250 is your best bet for under $100, performs slightly better than the 4850. 5670 performs a bit under the 4770.

    I got ocz stealxstream 700w and i was looking at the twinfrozr earlier does it have physx? [​IMG]

    all nvidia cards starting with the 8 series have physx.

    Technically they also need 256 meg ram i think and a certain amount of stream processors as well.

    I've read a tony of reviews on both cards.

    Seems like 4870 outperforms 5770 in only some cases, but generally 5770 is better.
    Also, seems like 4870 gets really hot and 5770 actually runs especially cool and uses less power than a lot of cards.

    Strange that you mention heat - my 4870 doesn't kick up much heat at all, even in intense gaming. Maybe it's the Antec 1200 it's been put in that keeps it happy.

    my 4870 on lowest fan setting (20%) gets about 45C idle
    and about 58-62C on load, I have the reference heatsink

    www.tomshardware.com does a monthly roundup of the best videocards in a wide variety of price ranges every month.

    i'd just go with what they recommend.
