Hacking 5.4 - Delete update

I tried searching but couldn't find the answer. I have a 5.4 and it is no longer on my network. It says there is an update but it hasn't applied it. I had two questions:

1) Is it possible that its downloaded on the console but not installed?

2) If so, is there a way to delete it? I thought there was homebrew app that did that but I could be way off. If there is, I can't find it now.

1. Yes, the update appears to have downloaded but hasn't been installed.
2. There is a Wii U update remover, but I am unaware if it supports anything other than 5.3.2. Someone else might be able to help with this.

In order to prevent this problem in the future, you should apply Tubehax DNS in order to block update downloads such as this.
