e.g some games have pro support, will you be able to download the update over the internet?
or is that impossible ?

yeah, i bought my pro some month ago from the same shop which i found a 4.55 pro now.
and heck i even bought my slim ps4 from them, for online.

but it is a trading thing, and they told me "once something is used even for a few days and the things were opened , it loses alot of value"
thus they be taking the pro from me 70$+ less than what i paid them for it.

so i will have to pay them 70+$ and give them my pro for the 4.55 pro.
you think i should go for it?
atm. i do have the buck for it luckily.

Do you have warranty with the old one? If so does it cover anything non-accidental? maybe somehow .. swapsie it for the 4.55 one? Somehow?

If not, its $70: you will make that up just downloading 2 AAA titles to play for free, and you will have access to +6TB of games, upcoming homebrew, etc etc.

EDIT: @leonmagnus99 @peteruk if the pro patch update is 4.55 compatible, and has been dumped and fpkg'd, then yes.

yeha i know, honestly I'm more interested in fiddling with the hax.

i dont play much games ._.
I'm mostly sitting play OW only, it is almost depressing because i don't play much other games.

I'm starting to feel less and less motivated to hack my ps4, specially with some recently released and upcoming games such as Monster Hunter World, Kingdom Hearts III, Spyro Trilogy and Medievil Remastered, even though I do not play online nor I buy stuff from the PSN Store.

Is there anything to do on a HEN enabled PS4 besides piracy? Because if not, I will inevitably update my PS4 to latest OFW once Kingdom Hearts III releases if 5.01 kexploit doesn't end up releasing in the meantime, thing I believe it will happen

I'm excited to play GOW, Spiro and heaps of other games, but I have been through this with many consoles before where you have to curb those cravings, and think, you could have exploit soon, if not those games will still be there and they will be cheaper if anything when you do eventually get them.

You can always support the game developers and buy the games you like. I have a full PAL N64 set along with everdrive v2.5, almost all first party Wii and WiiU games and a few badass GC games along with nintendont/dolphin/cemu, loads of select PS2 titles that are purely the games I loved with OPL.

GOW requires 5.05 on disc, and update 1.03 (day one patch) requires 5.50.... so dont update if youre stuck on 5.01-5-05... I have a feeling this might be the game to spring some leaks.

Where did you get that information about GOW requies 5.05 on disc ? I hope it would be on 5.00-5.01. Since GOW series are my absolutely favourite and still have them on PS3 include PSP and PS2.

@zer0xff on twitter, though hes checking a PKG version of the game, and not necessarily a disc copy (I should have made that clear, whoops) though the PKG version he has was mastered on march 3rd, yet the game went gold on march 23rd.... strange huh.

Personally I do not think it is worth buying two consoles, or losing online, and new game functionality, for the current state of ps4 homebrew.

If you think about it the only things worth "pirating" are the exclusives, everything else can be found dirt cheap or pirated on other consoles/pc, and for the price of a second console you could easily legit buy the exclusives and play/update them online hassle free, there also isn't any known killer homebrew app for the ps4 out, or even development. Now don't get me wrong here, people are entitled to their opinions, but the whole "all people want is piracy" argument kind of falls flat in this instance, and if you are paying this kind of money, or have the patience to go without updating in this day/age, maybe you deserve to run a couple of backups here and there, for many it isn't even about piracy, the satisfaction of following directions, and successfully modifying the system is the game, and everything that comes along with it is just a bonus, for that reason admittedly I still do intend to get a moddable ps4, but currently I have been more than satisfied with updating my current system, paying for its content, and enjoying it hassle free.

yeha, i will end up borrowing GoW for instance from my bro / or a friend.

and play it on my reg slim (imo. it plays fine on the regular too).
and well heres hoping 5.xx kex releases soon too.

Yeah, but to be honest, I don't care about piracy on the PS4
I think it's the only thing to do with a HEN enabled PS4, not a single cool homebrew game that catches my eyes (I have a RPi3 to play NES and Genesis/MS games)

I was able to wait with MHW, but my sister and I won't be able to do the same with KHIII, so my fate will probably be a homebrew-less PS4 for the next 18 - 24 years
