I was curious about this so I downloaded it, as I thought, fake. When you open the program it will ask for you to download a bios or something and the page the 'emulator' redirects you to contains a survey

Remember this is still an early beta version of the emulator.
To use EmulatorX you need a map with the bios files called 3dsbios.
You can get it here:

Place this map in the same place where the emulator is. And the Emulator should work fine.
