Hardware 3DS XL SD card

Looking to buy a 3DS XL but the SD card reader seems to be jammed i.e. card doesn't easily pop out.

Which replacement part do I need to buy to replace it?

That's a game cartridge slot?

The micro sd card on the 3ds xl, just push in and must manualy pull it out. It is not spring loaded like newer sd card slots.

-edit- nevermind, I was thinking of a dif device. I just check my 3dsxl and it is spring loaded, push to pop out. sorry

If you have an old 3ds xl then it is soldered on to the board.

I've never actually heard of someone having this problem before.

You're probably better off not handling the SD card at all. There seem to be lots of reports of people whose cards worked perfectly fine until they took them out and tried using them elsewhere.

If you install CFW you can do all your file management wirelessly over FTP.

My testing O3DSXL has some problems ejecting the SD sometimes. Probably the spring is weak and/or something is very slightly deformed from excessive usage.

As long as the reader works I'll not try to desolder it.

That is for New 3DS, what exact model you have anyway? Old 3DS XL or New 3DS XL?

Looks like you have an old 3ds xl, the System SD card flex is onboard.
