hey have read a few pages here but I do not really understand how I can get the films in my 3ds. what program do I play them and how do I install it?

Very first post:

...Ideally, plug in your SD card and choose the folder on it containing any photos/videos taken with the 3DS camera as the output folder, and then you won't have to manually copy any files.

Put the sd card back in your 3ds and start the 3ds-camera application. There you'll find the videos.

so has anyone jumped up conversion speed yet? i found another converter on here called 3ds movie and its conversion speed is excellent, but is missing some key features like video cutting, fps, ect. oh and if your looking for 3d videos you can get a couple off youtube "most are fake however". there are sites where you can get movies and porn and what not but im guessing the moderators wouldnt be happy with me posting them here so you will just have to google.

Man I just can't seem to get any kind of decent framerate no matter what I try. Just some choppy playback (but not choppy when played on pc.)

are you running the converter while continuing to play with your comp? if so you can do that cause you will loose frames, thus making it chopy.

When I play it back on my PC the framerate is perfect, but on the 3DS it's choppy.

the 3DS seems to have trouble to recognize my videos(it never updates the 'thumbnail list' in the Nintendo Camera app). I have the name right as ABC_0010 and similar, but it doesn't work.

Another question: Does somebody know a place where I can find 3D videos (in stereoscopic format, i.e. something the converter can read) to convert for my 3DS? I have a hard time searching for videos. I've only found two, and none of them worked on the 3DS. If somebody has a working converted file that I could try out on my 3DS, that would be great too(because maybe the problem is somewhere else and not in the converter).

i figured i would ask this because i imagine there is a way. do you think it is possible to locate and take those videos that come from the eshop and convert them into videos that could be played just like we do with these movies? basically make it so we could share them. and at the same time has anyone possibly figured out how to take stuff that you get off eshop, not just videos, and somehow convert them to pop up on a different 3ds' home menu? i thought about it when i bought the red 3ds when it came out and traded in my older one. and i dont mean for like paid stuff. i mean just like for demos and those videos that i cant get anymore like the luigi's mansion video.

You convert it. Then you copy it to the SD card. Then you eject the SD card. Then you put it in your 3DS. Then you turn the 3DS on. Then you go to 3DS Camera. Then you let it update the image database. Then you press Y and find your video. Here's a hint: It won't be under today's date.

Run the program, select the relevant options and hit convert.

my 3ds still cant read the videos . it just says no videos or pics

Did you put it in the correct folder on the 3DS? I think it's "DCIM" and then inside another folder inside that one. Take a picture with the 3DS, find it on the SD card then copy the videos to the same folder as the picture is in.

just tried still not working

btw my videos r showing as VID_0010 and HINI_0010

There should only ever be three letters, so HINI is wrong. HIN would be OK.
