Lets always keep it up to the user. I don't want a specific framerate, just wanna name some values for the guys that have problems. If your source videos have a framerate that can be used, it's good for you Some raw materials have framerates of 40 fps and more - that wont work.why do you want a specific framerate?
That's your opinion. Ffmpeg is not able to grab directly a mid part of a video without loosing audio-synch so it has to be a part of the beginning. In many movies the prelude is a bit longer than 2 minutes so I've chosen 3 to get the ability of hearing a dialogue too. 3 minutes instead of a whole 120 minutes movie is quite a good alternative. I find you dont really need a testfile for a 6 minute video but here you are: In this version 1.21 you can choose the length of the testfilegood idea for test file! but 3mn seems too long
It's not only one command. It's one commandline for every side plus one commandline that merges both sides plus several commandlines that split the videos into 10 min parts. and all video types uses different commandlines for the sides as well You can open the source.ahk with a text editor, there you can find all the commands easily.is it possible to have the ffmpeg command of the new version? to see if i can do something more and if you allow me... thx again for all your work
Try to drop it on the folder instead of droping it into the opened window of the folder. I hope that'll help.Damn Why is the order of my single Videos wrong? I copied one Video after the other. From part 1 to 9. But the order is still completely wrong.
what i want to explain is that coulb be cool to have an option to desactivate framerate... letting original framerate generate more fluid videoLets always keep it up to the user. can i convert red-cyan videos using this?
Some background:what i want to explain is that coulb be cool to have an option to desactivate framerate.
Assuming that the 2 video streams are seperated by R & GB.. (in most videos it's not the case)can i convert red-cyan videos using this?
Nope. So far we have not found a way to separate the colour channels using ffmpeg, it might be possible in the future, but it would require extra tools to get the job done.
i will do some test very quickly... thanks for all...3DS Video v1.3:

I converted many movies of that size without problems. If you didnt convert anything else after that file, there must be a psize.txt in your windows temp folder. Please upload it to mediafire.com and post the link here. Can someone help me, I'm trying to convert a 27 gig video and it manages to finish the left.avi and right.avi but 3ds video freezes on me and doesn't finish merging/spliting. Is there a way I can merge these without starting the whole thing over again (takes like 10 hours on my shitty old computer)
27 gig video? either that is VERY long or extremely high quality (in fact, at that size it's probably both). You might want to transcode the video to a lower quality first, before running it through this app. Bear in mind that the 3DS max resolution is pretty low etc., so you wouldn't see the majority of the quality anyway.
But yeah you could merge them manually using the original commands from spinal_cord and ffmpeg. then you can split them manually. but if it's a long video, it'll take a while and be quite a pain.
I'm not sure if I'm stupid or if the software is broken.
I'm trying to add convert an .avi file. It's 300MB, and 45 minutes long. The 'Final Video' bar is all the way to right, and it's not using up my CPU any more. The 'VID_001' is in D :\DCIM\100NIN03. But the software is still just hanging, the 'Convert' video is greyed out and I haven't gotten any confirmation of completion.
Wat do?
(Also, I'm using 3DS Video v1.00 on Windows XP 32bit.)
This is the point where the final moviefile gets split into 10 minute-files (so 10 min videos are not the max ) and the program tries to put them on your destination folder. So I read a bit more of the thread, and apparently 10 min videos are the max that can be done? So downloaded v1.3 and tried to create a 120sec test video with the source as a 6 minute .mp4. It just hangs at a little over 50%. What am I doing wrong?
Maybe your sd card isnt connected or the folder doesn't exist anymore. Pls prove that.
If this conversion was the last one you've tried, there must be a psize.txt in your windows temp folder. pls post this textfile here.
