Great, my CN still hasn't come from Japan yet. Hopefully GW can solve the issue, but from all the talk it seems like Nintendo could block emunand on N3DS they just screwed it up last time.

No, it looks to me like both the Amiibo settings (TitleID000401300000B902) and the "Old3DS nfc system-module" (TitleID0004013000004002) were installed in a previous update.

I also neglected to mention that the new title is only part of the new3DS update.

Can confirm, 9.6J and a broken emunand!

I hope GW releases soon, I forgot to make a backup like a dope since I just barely set it up :lol:

At least a fix for the multimenu for 8.1J would make me peachy

Feel like i've sat for hours wasting my time.

My new 3DS's emunand just must've caught the 9.5 update.

My old one got the 9.6 and was blackscreening... I knew this would come tonight!!!!

Worst luck. Now if the encryption's changed? No transfer of my old content. Meaning both sit useless for another while.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
