Hacking 3DS update version 9.6.0-24 out now

I purchased the gateway 3ds card from https://3ds-flashcard.com. I just received it yesterday did not open it. they said they can exchange it for the sky3DS card. the label says it came from CA but when emailing customer service they want me to ship it to somewhere else...

Because I bought a 3ds xl from my friend and the firmware is 9.6... no backup no nothing.. cant use gateway., need the sky3DS. ..unless u have something in mind

Sell 3ds and get a gateway compatible one

I bought it for $75.00.. he only used it for 1 month... I'm not going to buy another one for that price

Believe me the features Gateway offers over sky is well worth the investment

I bet if you really put your heart in it you could go out and earn an extra $125 within a few weeks.

Regardless if they gave up or not doesn't matter. If you have a gateway compatible 3ds then you can use all the new cfw that are coming out soon. If your on 9.3+ then your out of luck for any kind of modding on your 3ds.

Maybe it's not that easy.

cearp mentioned that the Gateway card works in a different way than the Sky3DS card does. It could very well be that there way is more complex then the other.

it works similar to CFW and from what i hear they already got 9.6 working

But I guess no matter how you look at it, Gateway as a company wants to stay in the business - so I believe there will be an update.
Gateway already did some awesome things and delivered every time until now. They got my trust and I'll wait a little longer.

Plus, there are no important games on that firmware at the moment out of my sight.

but better to updated tot he latest before N drops the new update which i hear is rumored for the middle of the month or the 24, i forget
i think someone said they announced a new update in the latest nintendo direct for april

I suppose Gateway team want to release 9.6 on all systems at the same time and that the problem is the N3DS.

I bet if they don't manage to make it work on N3DS in a while, they will probably just release an update for other systems (each N3DS emunand update will now bit a problem for them, because of the protections Nintendo added then fixed).

There is already a 9.6 emunand available by someone else, but correct me if I'm wrong, it's only for the old 3DS, not the N3DS one ? (which would explain why Gateway still released nothing about it).

If they already announced a new update, the best would be to wait to directly release the new update (and that's maybe what they are doing) and from what I remember, Gateway already did that once. I think it was with 9.3 and 9.4 which had close releases dates, and they directly released the last version.

While I don't like waiting, I agree. With the Sm4sh update and Mewtwo releasing the 28th, I'd much rather have the new 3DS update cracked early than late, if possible. I want to use my Mewtwo the day it releases.
