3DS - Tesco UK drop price to £179

Tesco are to reduce the price of their 3DS preorders from tomorrow, hopefully other companies may have to price match to keep up. Tesco have a price promise too so anyone who has already placed their order at a previous higher price will get it at £179.
Add a game to your basket for a £10 when you enter promo code.

EDIT: Yet again, Tesco have given an incorrect price and changed it .When I posted this the ad said £179, The price is actually £197. Rip off Britain! Please close this thread.

Yeah, we pay more for everything over here, you should see our fuel prices. I think this price works out slightly better than the Japanese price, despite paying 20% tax and being shipped halfway round the world. This UK price is about £20 better than the previous price so is a sign hopefully of better deals for UK consumers.

$298 i assume would have been that dick smith online special?

i'm getting mine this cheap because i work at dickies

for those wondering, we buy them in at $321 so them selling me them at that price (i say them because i hooked my brother up with one at the same price as well) is actually losing them money

Also, yeah, this is cheaper than Japan (straight up) but with taxes I dunno.

i hope the aus releases the 3ds at a lower price than mentioned at the moment. Dont aussies have a sale in july, i hope it reaches to around 300-320 AUS dollars
