Any idea about load roms with ninjhax???
you cant load roms with it, you don't have kernel access, only userland access
sky3ds have kernel access? or is just an emulation?
sky3ds imitates 3DS cartridge hardware, there is no software exploit involved
what do people don't understand about smea ssspwn / ninjhax, it only has access to arm11 code not arm9 and therefore will never run roms. its a freaking userland exploit. people need to read more before they keep posting the same questions over and over.
negged for not reading OP you filthy pleb
well, they payed 30-50€ for their Cubic Ninja, so now they demand 3DS rom loading... too bad, they didn't read before buying
with that being said, they probably have no idea what homebrew means either.
Who wants to start taking bets on how many weeks it will take for a rom loader to be released?
Holy shit not again.
Lol roll on the reduced prices on eBay.... Can't wait to play Mario 3
going to need another vul to gain arm9/kernel access. i think gateway already has something.
I think ppl just see "hax" and automagically think it can do "everything" because, y'know HAX! haha
I am no expert on how this hack works, and Pleb may certainly be right. But this is a major kink in Nintendos armor, and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if someone figures out higher level access either with this exploit or reverse engineering Sky/Gateway (if they ever release a 9.x exploit).
Someone in another thread stated this does give kernal level access, but that it has been purposely handicapped by Smea. This information may be incorrect, but who knows.
I payed cubic ninja 4€ LOL
It's not possible load roms with the emulation method of sky3ds? Redirecting NAND access to the SD card? Use the new gateway exploit for 9.X?
sky3ds uses no exloit, it is imitating the hardware of a real cartridge
no software exploit = no redirecting anything
and if you already have a sky3ds, then you can already play roms, no redirecting anything needed
OP should have read the release thread first
enjoy the ranting ramblings of wannabe pirates...this thread is probably going to be here for the long-haul, i dont think people will accept they payed over the top prices for a homebrew only exploit
and to answer my own question
yeah a few hours after release
Why is it that people don't research this stuff before doing stuff like this? Last time I remembered, Homebrew != ROM Loading.
Whatever, I'm just going to call this on impulse purchasing, because this is ridiculous. I've lost count how many people asked about ROM loading on the channel. Not cool you guys, not cool.
TL;DR: RTFM before buying stuff.
Reading is hard apparently.
