Hey,
i need help with starting a game. I try to start Monster Hunter Stories, but as soon as the 3ds logo vanishes, i get a black screen and nothing happens. I tried it with Gateway 11.1 and Luma 11.1 but none of this works.

Go into FBI and say import seed or visit the game's eShop page.

Why don't try using using CHMM? It's much more superior than making .cia, as .cia can only hold 100 themes, while you can have unlimited theme using CHMM. And CHMM only needs copy and pasting the themes rather than installing the cia.
Well, is there a way to convert the cia themes because what i'm trying to do is put some of my official 3ds theme cias and put them in a pack

Hello everyone, i have another noob question. Yesterday i finished installing homebrew on my 3DS, and downloaded some games from the Freeshop app, both Pokemon X and Mario kart 7 are working great, but Smash bros IV is not, whenever i try to boot it i just get a black screen.

Any known issues with the smash version from the freeshop? think i could download it from another source?

Are we able to stream DS games with NTR?
I dont have n3DS yet and cant really test it is why i am asking.
No, since NTR is on the 3DS part. Once you reboot to DS mode, it clears everything from RAM, thus killing NTR(plus, for the DS part. It uses a different processor)

When i cracked my 3DS i updated as a part of the process, i'm on version 11.1.0 -34E currently

EDIT: I updated the game when prompted, dunno if that has something to do with it
Do you have a splash screen or using a boot manager? I'm not qualified to help as I have only the haziest memories of a solution but I know there have been half a dozen others with the exact same problem as you and I think it had something to do with boot managers and Luma's path. If you have a bit of a Google hopefully you can find their questions and the solution given then will work for you.

    Only Xbox I don't have is the OG, and One X model specifically, I regret giving my chipped OG model to one of my kids years ago, after later hearing he sold it to pawn shop, damn kids!

    I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
