i downgraded another N3DS with 11.0 with a hardmod and proceeded to go to 9.2, however everytime i try to to the homebrew launcher to install menu hax, the booting screen stops at the words "config parsing" and just stops there, was a step done wrong?

i redid the downgrade, redownloaded the menuhax and start files but doesnt seem to go anywhere, I just feel like I missed something and cant figure out what it was...

Update: It seems the firmware update today has played a possible role?

Hey everyone. I'm trying to install the Homebrew Menu via menuhax. However, after I messed up the downgrade and had to go back a step, I reformatted my system and restarted. However, now I'm just stuck at "parsing config..." and it will not move on. i've tried numerous times for hours and still nothing. Any tips and help?

haha ya exactly same problem that I just ran into! I even had it working at first but now it isn't. I'm trying to ask yellow through https://github.com/yellows8/3ds_homemenuhax/issues/202, hope he can possibly reply.

Since the new update came out i cant access my browser or youtube idk if i can still play online on games, is there a way to fix this without updating i have homebrew installed

So is it safe to update to 11.1 firmware with my cfw 3ds? The plailect guide says it should be, but just making sure. A better question would be if i should even ask this in the future

yes, you can update

Entrypoint refers to ways to access the homebrew launcher. Menuhax, browserhax, oothax, tubehax and ironhax(now dead), etc are all entrypoints to the homebrew launcher.

If you mea by how i can get to homebrew launcher its by powering up my 3ds and holding L
I read you can access online by using ctr-httpw in homebrew but i dont know how to use it
Edit it should be browserhax since i used yellow8s website

What you described is menuhax. browserhax is accessing the hbl through

No idea about ctr httpwn since ive never used it myself. If you can still access hbl through your menuhax i say you should be fine but dont take my word for it. Im assuming you have cfw on your 3ds, or only hbl?

I only have homebrew launcher, then there is no way to use online services again ?

What happens exactly when you try and use the browser or youtube? Do they give you an error message? Im not entirely sure what your situation is

They give me a message saying i should update my console and there is only one button to this message OK which leads me back to home menu

If you have custom firmware installed on your 3ds, just update

If you only have hbl, yeah youre pretty rekt m8. Install cfw if you can

I guess i cant install any cfw on 11.0 idk if its possible to do it on my current version but if i really can which cfw do you recommend ? Luma ?

Its possible to install cfw on with a 3ds on 11.0 but you need to either hardmod it or use the plailects dsiware downgrade guide. Both options arent exactly easy.

Anyways, for now just avoid upgrading until everything with the new update is sorted out, itll take some time. Last I recall menuhax should still work on 11.1 but once again dont take my word for it.

So there is a newer Firmware out. What I did not understand is how to upgrade emunand and sysnand. Is there a tutorial for those with armloaderhax?
