Hardware 3DS less powerful than iPhone

If the 3DS is less powered than the iPhone, then someone answer this: Why is there no iOS game that comes close to looking as good as anything seen for 3DS???

Because the 3DS is a dedicated gaming platform with a superior GPU and built to run modern shaders and textures. It still has a weaker CPU and far less RAM, but at the same time as a gaming platform, the specs it already has it more than enough to get games looking better than what's on the iPhone without destroying the battery.

Sir, those people are mad, because Nintendo did talk to them about a Engine on the 3DS. It's pure speculation at best, considering that they don't have a Dev Kit, or 3DS.

iPhone 4 is a smartphone. It has to run an OS and programs in the background. And above all it is not made for gaming. It is not it's primary function

The 3DS is made for gaming. While it is playing a game is doesn't have a (power consuming) OS running in the background. All of its power is used to play the game.

Its probably a lot less, everyone I know who owns a PSP also owns a DS. Had Nintendo just went with power rather then trying something different I reckon that the DS sales would be closer to the PSP with Nintendo still winning somewhat.

The iPhone has a separate dedicated GPU as well. We won't know about "superior" until the 3DS comes out and someone runs some benchmarks, but it's a pretty powerful one. But again, this doesn't matter.

Game systems are not based off graphic and all though Sony knows how to make pretty looking games, they fail when it boils down to making a game with gameplay to back up the nice graphics.

i own both psp and ds, but i don't ever remember nintendo's biggest 1st party tittle's as being Cooking Mama and Princess dancing on ice. Your post reeks of fanboyism and it stinks!.........
