My DSi is solid. No clicks, wobbles or anything. I was quite shocked when my 3DS wobbled. It's quite annoying now

I just called nintendo, talked to Mike, he told me that's how it's suppose tobe, it suppose to move alittle.
the ones that are stiff will suffer crack hinges if not used carefully.

I have 5 3ds (got it for the family) and they all move alittle.

if your still are mad at the wobble find alittle thin (I mean real thin) piece of plastic or paper (plastic would be good, if it's too thick use fine grid sand paper to thin it out), cut it into a C-shape like spacer and put it in the little gap and that should fix your wobble problem.

remember when you do this it will be there and to get it out you have to get and thread or thin string and remove it like if your using floss.

I have the wobble from the video, I just find that $250 for that kind of wobble is unacceptable, I will exchange mine and report back with details.

As the post above says it's supposed to wobble to protect the system. All my nds>>3ds systems wobble slightly when moved and I haven't had a problem with any of them.
Well, my DS phat wobbled a LOT, however it had a cracked hinge, so that's not really true...
Unless you don't take care of your handheld, of course >.

Bought one blue and one black, blue is ok, black wobble :/
Took it back to the shop, opened with the retailer 4 black 3DS, all wobbles ! A blue one was ok, but I wanted a black one, so I went to another shop to find 3 more wobbling black ones, 1 blue wobbling too and finally one good black !
Final stats for me:
good blue : 2/3
good black : 1/7

Really depressing figures...

Black and yes it wobbles a little. You have every right to be a little concerned for 250$ thats just crazy. My lite has NO wobble and going on something like 3 years.

Yes it wobbles. Worth sending back? No. Unless it gets like my DS lite and completely flops down when you open it.

so for all the wobble 3ds please make a phone call to nintendo and tell them we have a problem.
cuz right now they are saying it's suppose tobe like that!!!

make your voice herd

my dsi has this wobble[though less]

it only wobbles if it gets shaked, there is no problem with mine, playing on the bus or in car

ed.: it definately doesn't wobble as much as in the video

so i guess mine is just how it is intended to be

My 3DS also has the hinge wobble like shown in the video, I know someone that sent it back and got a new fixed unit with no hinge issues at all. It's only noticeable in actual play if I hold the 3DS forward vertically in which case it keeps moving, instead of down and horizontal which is fine. Is this something that can just be fixed by opening the 3DS up and tightening a screw or two?

Just to say this once and for all so no one can bitch at me anymore, N saying "it's supposed to wobble" is no excuse for them not using better material to make sure that the hinges never have a breaking issue.
