Mine Doesn't Wobble at all nor does it make any weird sounds I have the charcoal version of the 3ds. Mine does get black screen errors if im playing shadow wars and I get a street pass or a wi-fi notification, turning off wifi while playing this ofline only game seems to fix it.

I think its more of "what determines wobble"...so heres a tutorial for the ACTUAL 3DS owners out there:

1)Open the op scren to the first click.
2)Hold the 3DS flat like a board in your left hand.
3)position index finger of right hand between the front cameras and push gently.
4)if the lid moves a little bit then please answer "YES" to the above poll.

As for me, i'd prefer a hinge with a little give that lasts for a long time, then a stiff hinge that will simply break after a few months.
Testing it that way i can actually lift my 3ds from the table so the cart area is not even touching the table and the top lid wont wobble or close its stiff as a board.

Little late, but got my 3DS the other day and can check for my self. Here is my response:

So I selected no on the poll. The video details why.

It's not necro posting if the thread is still on page one of the list of threads and such. Did you really just waste a post on making such a useless statement? This from a user who got his sig nuked by a mod... lol

I added my response (a video response no less!) to my opinion on it. I didn't bump it for the sake of bumping it. I wanted to add my thoughts to this. Sorry if this has somehow offended you.

I was wondering,
For all those who say its wobbly;

As you know DS handhelds have two levels of screen position.
When Put on the firstmost level (170~160 Degrees) It should stay in place with little to no wobbles at all.
When put on the second level (~180 Degrees) then it WILL wobble in order to absorb the impact if it happens to get moved forward or backwards due to a large shock.

It should be defined on which level your DS wobbles, if its on the first level then THATS when its a problem, otherwise its just your imagination.

My 2 Years old DSLite and 3 Years old phat DS, and of course my 3DS stay sturdy when on a 160Degrees angle
