Hacking 3ds games on flashcart - Hardware or firmware update?

im going to buy a supercard dstwo for my 3ds xl and i know that it currently does not support 3ds games however in the future once it has been hacked, would i just have to update its firmware or buy a completely different flahcard.

No, it's physically impossible for the DSTwo to play 3DS ROMs.

The Gateway 3DS is currently your only choice, but it costs $80, and I have a feeling it will suck big time.

thank you all for your replies and after much consideration i will probably wait until they have fully hacked the 3ds and buy a flashcard then.
