they said multirom was going to be one of the features of 2.0. however someone posted that the 2.0 update might be missing some features they announced since r4 is pressuring an early release. we don't know what will be missing. my guess is that 2.0 will only bring EmuNAND so people can play games like Zelda. features like eshop and multirom will likely come with 2.1.

in my opinion they will release a version with emunand multirom etc as they had them already ready,the difficult part was to make emunand to work with no problems if that is ready then multirom will be released too as it is not a thing that could brick a 3ds

they told me that multirom was not in 2.0(in 1 email), i think multirom is very hard, they have had 3 mounth to make a new FW and there are new thing in future, maybe multiroom too!
this new FW is ok for me, so i can play Zelda and Batman

sounds like: we were unable to achieve everything we promised but we will release what we granted as of now...

I believe we wont see multirom nor CARD2 support, but emuNAND will be there.
Thats enough for me, i just want to play zelda

I received an e-mail from team gateway. It's very much like the e-mail that's been going around, but instead of 2-4 days, it said within the next 48 hours. Which sounds about right since I only got it this morning.

I got an XL with 5.0 fw.

What do you think are the chances gateway will ever support that fw?

They list it as a priority on their homepage:

but that does not sound very optimistic, "not given up hope". More like something a marketing guy would say to get peoples hopes up and buying the product don't you think?

I envision Gateway will, in order to offer support for card 2 games, create Gateway model 2, a card 2 flashcard that mimics card 2 saving, forcing everyone who already bought model 1 to spend money on Gateway all over again, if they wish to play card 2 games.

Until now, GW has two released which came over a month back and some mails. Almost the same like R4

There was nothing really wrong with the Gateway Team's English before, I believe?
