Misc 3DS error 007-6106

I hate Nintendo's explanation about error code!It's says noting useful!I only want update my game(I have to say this update pack is rather huge which make this situation more annoying).I try to download this update(By download now ,download later or download in eshop )and it usually take me 4 or 5 hours to reach 99%,and.....this error code 007-6106 just jump out said "sorry please try again"! I tried so many times!Could somebody!anybody!help me out of this situation!

I had the same thing happen. Only fix is to format system memory.

Back up everything to SD, format system with SD card ejected, then copy everything back.

is it fixed? i also have the same problem.

This might happen if:

• you changed your 3ds region location and trying to use the e-shop at the same time (for region free reasons)
• if you are trying to forcefully access the e-shop on lower firmware other than 10.7

Solutions:

• try updating your 3ds system firmware even though you might not want to do it.
• reformat and then restore NAND+SD backup

I'm having this error. N10.7U latest Luma. Yes, I have been trying to change region. (on Emunand. I'm sure to always make backups of my initial nand and reflash when all my attempts fail) Should I reformat and then restore NAND+SD backup?

Yeah i've got this happening to me now. if i try to download anything from the eshop it just throws the 007-6106 error and kicks me out.
Is it confirmed that formatting memory will fix this? and if so how can i go through the process and conserve A9LH??? just seems sketchy to me. I have a recent back up of NAND and SD and can do this but surely restoring this information would just bring back any issue? after all what is there other than NAND and SD?

Just don't want to go through this for no reason as rewriting to my SD card takes a good 5 hours all in.

I'm confirming that, you must "Format System Memory" from System Settings in emunand mode (back up first your saved data from CIA) to resolve this issue. I'm downloading demo of MOnster Hunter Generations earlier and I'm encountering this error.

I have tried following the advice from here format system memory och then nand restore still same error on some titles but I wonder should I format system memory with or without sdcard ? Otherwise I don't understand what I'm doing wrong I followed the advice described here.

This happen because the encrypted key of the ticket that u generate is wrong. i Think that if u download a ticket with the correct encryptation and install it u can solve the problem.

Reviving an old thread here but on my o3ds I'm trying to download steel divers(for system transfer dsiwarehax) and getting the eshop error 007-6106 and I have tried formatting then restoring nand/sd and I still get the error code.
Suggestions?
Note: I have not done any region spoofing or anything goofy like that BUT I have used CIAngel and Freeshop. I also had to clear my NNID and inject a blank NNID save and relink if that matters.

Bumping dead threads is bad. Delete the old ticket and then buy the game. You cant do the system transfer technique with a game that you dont actually own. It will disapear when you do the system transfer

Yeah I know all of that. Updating luma with starupdater is the reason I was encountering this error. Update with Luma updater if you encounter this.

Just popping in to say that you're wrong. There is nothing taboo with bumping old threads, especially one with the last reply from November, I would hardly call that necrobumping. If someone has an issue that has been solved, they have somewhere to read and or ask if they have a similar issue and the fix isn't working. Same reason mods don't delete threads when they are "solved".

But I removed the sd card during that process. Now when I put the SD back in Reinand doesn't open. Any solutions for this and how to boot it back? Now when I turn it on it goes to the old plain 3ds home screen. I checked the SD also and all the needed files are still there from before. My 3ds is on 9.1. Would appreciate feedback.

Sorry, not too good with this but !
Yeah, I'm using Reinand with emuNAND.
And no, when I set it up afterwards ( setting the time and date stuff ) the SD card wasn't in it.
