Misc 3DS Can't Play Smash Bros Because Ban

So pretty much I got banned from SUMO a long time ago and the localfriendcodeseed method worked and let me play online on my games!... In everything except smash! What happens is once joining a game I get kicked or the other people get kicked. I assume it's because of this ban and have tested to prove so. I've tried deleting my NNID and changing serial number to be able to make a new NNID and maybe be able to play online but I get the 022-2812 error code. Any help is appreciated, I really want to get this to work!

Yup. I guess I could retry smash but I mean it's only smash.

That's unusual.. Maybe you should try a different localfriendcodeseed_B?
(I can provide files if need be, just PM me what ones because I don't know them off the top of my head, lol)

Quite, I think the file owner might have been banned from Sm4sh
But I really don't know, hence my suggestion

I can test but I mean he hasn't ever even played it online.

Well, ain't this fun..
I say test anyway, because if you both have the problem then it's something common between the system. If it's only your system, then you could try stuff like clearing the save data.

I fully deleted all data and switched from my cart to freeShop version. I will test when I get the chance though.

Almost positive I played smash online to test it before I did the unban method and it still worked fine so I feel like the sumo ban doesn't have anything to do with it. Was going to ask if you were using the public lfcs but Vin said he wasn't so i'm not too sure what the problem could be.

Well then, this is very interesting. My brother also cannot play online but I swear he was never banned, maybe he got banned for sharing it to me? Very weird.

At least it's worth noting that it's a common issue. I don't know if it would be because the key itself is shared, as I share my key with my rl friend Luke (He got SuMo banned as well. I didn't even though I went online once, so we just kinda huddled around my keys like an ice cream truck) and we Sm4sh eachother on a semi-regular basis.
