ROM Hack 2D to 3D drawing application!!

Dudes i just found this amazing java amp demonstration on yutube. Its an application that you can use to make 3d models out just out off drawing it in 2d with a stylus. It would be AMAZING to have this on the nintendo DS, just seems perfect for it!! I hope this gives ideas to any programer reading this. I sure would love to have it on the DS

ugh...heaven forbid you want to make something precise and not hope that the algorithims decide to make it another way.

EDIT: Or if you wanted to make anything with right angles (or any angles for that matter). I just don't see what the practical purpose of this is besides one of those programs where you go "wow, this is nifty" and then never use it again after 10 minutes of use.

It looks pretty fun to sketch up toons 2 me.the use of it is you could do it anywhere on a ds.you could then save it on the cart and work the sketch up in 3ds max. far more interesting than a ds paint application to me

I managed to get a respectable nipple out of it, quite by accident mind you.

Seriously though, this would be hella-fun in PictoChat!

You might also try Google's SketchUp if you haven't already. I'm no 3D guy, but I continue to have fun with it.
Oh, and ^ that's a "man nipple", so don't freak out.

This software could serve alot of purpose. If ideas like this are improved on, 3d modeling programs can impliment them as an extra feature. I personally, it's a great idea, and a different approach to modeling.

you know, Mario 64 DS has that cool doodle thing where your doodles get all 3dish and interactive.

Yeah. This has been out for awhile and is a brilliant tool to use, especially with the ability to save it as an object file and import it into Max. Something like this on a DS would be absolutely amazing, especially if you were able to export the file.

its made with java, so maybe it will work with the nintendo browser? but the online version doesnt let you save which sucks, even if it did, the browser wont.
Dam isnt there a java reader for the ds?
