Hacking 2 questions that i really need answering to..

First question can the vwii play pal games like a regular wii thats been softmodded or is there something extra to be done besides forcing ntsc via wiiflow or whatever?

second question how come the wii flow backups launch only in 4:3 mode? even if i set force 16:3 its still just plays in 4:3 (not full screen/ black bars on left&right) im using HD Wii component (Blu,Green,Red,Red & white) cable not hdmi as i dont have a free port on the tv is this a vwii/wiiu limit or what? is there a way to fix it?

you need to use a forwarder channel like this one, (I and many others use this one too)

the 4.0 update made channels starting with "L" (VC Games normally) to run in 4:3 mode. since HBC uses "LULZ" as the channel ID, it is forced into 4:3 mode as well.

the forwarder fixes it by running under the channel ID "GHBC" then it launches HBC.

well bit the bullet & found out pal works the same way it used to just force ntsc or what your tv standard is. works fine not sure with hdmi as dont have free one on the tv to test but should work
