Hacking 1TB Compatability / USB Loader GX / Rev 14

Hello,

I have a question. Can people post their Rev no. and USB Loader GX version; as well as the model no. and name of the 1TB external drive they are using.

Reason:

I am buying a TB drive soon. I need to know what works and what does not work.

If you own a TB drive and use it for your Wii to load backups or games, please let me know what model and what you think of how it handles.

If you have any errors or problems with the drive please post that information too! Maybe we can use the thread as a giant resource.

have a 1 tb hard drive. The brand is iomega, model is ego, not sure of the number. It runs perfect with gx . I have had no spin down no freezes or hot swapping issues at all. It was plug and play. I also noticed it is very quiet and run cool because of the fans. I got it off eBay for $100

I have the Western Digital 1 TB My Book Essential Edition and it works perfect. I highly recommend you buy it too.

My tb is a Western Digital My Book Essential Edition. works just fine. no issues at all I'm current running cios r14 and using gx r700. Just keep in mind the a wbfs partition will only hold 500 files. If you fill it with games you'll end up with somewhere between 70 and 80 free gigs. Get it at Walmart for $119.99

i got a wd 1tb HOME EDITION. works great, but i keep on having to unplug and plug it back in after each game. unless someone can help me
